My Educational Philosophy
As an educator and user experience researcher, my goal is to combine the two concepts to create a safe and efficient educational environment for my diverse learners. As I bring the act of teaching into my classroom, I will use my knowledge in user experience research to always question and find the pain points of my learners in order to improve what is lacking. My strengths in individualization, adaptability, and empathy are key which allows me to see each student as a whole. My classroom will consist of various learning tools and resources where my learners will have the freedom to explore knowledge, self expression, and inclusion. This includes hands-on learning, projects, group work, and other learning techniques to find what works best for my students. Students will be encouraged to observe, think, reflect, and reinforce their learning skills, behavior, and their critical thinking.

As the students are learning different learning techniques, I will encourage them and guide their thought process based on what they already know and help them reach where they need to be. Common core standards will be enforced just as any school requirement but students will use these standards to continue improving their knowledge. Learning will not end in the classroom as my students will learn to continue their learning and grow their knowledge as they continue their educational journey. I believe in creating strong relationships with my students and their families as it is crucial in their educational journey, which includes open communication and collaboration , as it is my priority in order for my students to succeed. My desire is to know my students and their needs deeply so that I can help modify or accommodate them according to their learning styles. In order for all of my goals and desires in the classroom to be successful, I believe that it is important to reflect on myself and my capabilities as well as my own biases to truly know who I am and who I want to be as an educator.
